we understand that homeschooling can be an incredibly rewarding journey—but it also comes with unique challenges.
That’s why we’ve created a space that supports both young people and their parents.
Our Home School Gym + Parent Support Program is more than just a workout session; it’s a place for movement, connection, and community.
At Fit N Well,
Young people aged 12 and up are welcomed into our gym space for a structured, supportive workout session led by our Strength and Conditioning Coach, Anthony. These sessions are designed to introduce them to gym-based movement in a way that builds confidence, coordination, and physical wellbeing. Whether your young person is completely new to exercise or already loves to move, they’ll find encouragement, skill-building, and fun in a safe, inclusive environment.
While the kids are in session, parents are invited to relax just a few doors down at Kibbies—a local café where we shout the coffee. This isn’t just about caffeine (though that certainly helps!)—it’s about giving you a moment to pause, connect with other homeschooling families, and feel seen and supported.
Each session features a guest professional who joins parents at the café to answer questions, offer guidance, and create space for open conversation. These professionals rotate each time and include Developmental Educators, Support Coordinators, and other allied health workers who understand the complexities of raising and educating neurodivergent or support-needing young people.
This isn’t a formal seminar or a lecture—just real chats over coffee with people who get it!
testimonials
Homeschooling Mum
“The whole session was really well run and thoughtfully put together. It offered meaningful connection and fun for the kids, and a real sense of community and support for us parents too.”
Parent Attendee
“My teen loved getting involved and feeling part of the group. I really appreciated the supportive atmosphere and being able to chat with other parents—it’s something we don’t often get.”
Homeschool Parent
“It was so valuable seeing my young person connect with others in a healthy, positive space. They came away feeling confident—and I had the rare chance to connect with other parents over coffee.”
This program was created in direct response to what we were hearing from families: that they wanted more support, more connection, and more opportunities for their kids to thrive outside of the traditional school environment. It’s a soft entry into something new, a low-pressure way to explore gym movement, and a beautiful opportunity for parents to build their village.
Whether your child wants to explore movement, meet new friends, or just try something different and whether you want to learn, connect, or simply catch your breath.
This is your space.
